A little about me
I’ve worked on a wide variety of productions over the years, and now specialize in Commercial DIT work.
That being said, I have not forgotten my roots which include countless specs, music videos, shorts, TV series, and a few features. Small crews and multiple hats were common. This helped instill the importance of mobility and self-sufficiency.
I really enjoy being part of a team, and while the DIT position can be solitary, I strive to not follow that pattern.
Most of my work before DITing, was as an AC, which allows me to handle DMT&2nd AC jobs with ease.
Here’s a little background about me if you’re interested.
I majored in Radio and Television arts Ryerson University, which gave me a strong technical background in all aspects related to media. Alongside with working at my local Television station in high-school, this ensured that I had a chance to work in all roles ranging from audio mixing, telepromting, linear VTR editing (deck to deck baby), switching, directing. Early in university I understood that studio life was not for me, and started making the switch to location work.
